I did rather wish we had had oursin with us at that moment, but the resultant explosion would have taken out most of the book department of Jarrolds, which was in other respects excellent (no longer just selling non-threatening detective novels and military memoirs to County types).

I switched to the library for new Falco books quite a while ago, then stopped bothering with even that.

I think Decca's rather buccaneering attitude to soaking the rich/the capitalists/saving money could generate a number of tips of very dubious legality. Though 'putting your money into a running away fund' is utter blissikins, do admit.
